Venue and Seating Information
Opened in 1968 as the Garden State Arts Center, PNC Bank Arts Center is an outdoor amphitheater with a reported capacity of 17,500. Its covered pavilion offers reserved seating, while the general-admission lawn provides a more relaxed and typically more affordable way to experience a concert.
Front orchestra seats are closest to the stage, while mid-pavilion sections can offer a strong balance of view and comfort. On the lawn, arriving early for a center spot at a moderate distance can help with sightlines. Far-side pavilion seats may have angled views, and the back corners of the lawn are generally less desirable. Summer guests should also prepare for heat, humidity, and changing weather.
